Her Story

Meet Nahomie

“I believe creativity gives us language for the things our hearts struggle to say. Through storytelling, poetry, and the arts, we can process our experiences, reconnect with ourselves, and find healing in ways that words alone cannot. My own journey taught me that creativity is more than an outlet, it is a pathway to healing, reflection, and hope.

I have witnessed the power of creative expression to transform pain into healing, isolation into community, and stories into bridges that connect us to one another.

Pursuit of Joy was born from that belief: that when people are given space to express themselves authentically, they can begin to heal, grow, and rediscover joy.

Every event, workshop, and experience we create is rooted in the conviction that our stories matter, our voices have value, and creativity has the power to bring us closer to ourselves, each other, and God.”

— Nahomie St. Louis, Founder of Pursuit of Joy
